NISSAN Rent-A-Car provides reliable coverage with road service, CDW, and NOC support.
Road Service
NISSAN Rent-A-Car - Supplementary road service for full-cover plan and basic plan
Supported Vehicle All Vehicles Vehicle Transport Service Compensation is limited to ¥100,000 (including tax) per accident, etc.
The customer will be responsible for any amount in excess of ¥100,000.
The place to be transported will be a factory, etc. designated by the Pickup Branch.Emergency First Aid Service Road service up to ¥20,000 (including tax) is included in the policy in the event that the vehicle cannot be driven due to a breakdown, battery failure, or other problem with the vehicle itself.
Work that is not covered by the service, or that exceeds the scope of coverage, will be borne by the customer.

NISSAN Rent-A-Car - Road Service Regulations
*NISSAN Rent-A-Car will pay for the expenses incurred by the customer up to ¥20,000 per rental.
*The customer will be asked to temporarily pay for this service, and the amount will be refunded upon presentation of the receipt at the return location.
*The customer may be reimbursed for the replacement cost by bank transfer at a later date.
*Out of gas is a condition in which the engine will not start due to running out of fuel.
*Unlocking of the car at the time of in-lock can only be handled by those who can verify the following identity with the rental car rental certificate.
・If it is confirmed that the driver's name on the rental certificate and the name on the driver's license are the same.
・If you can confirm your identity by presenting a business card, employee ID card, and driver's license that is the same as the corporate name of the borrower listed on the rental certificate.
*The place to be transported will be the factory or other location designated by NISSAN Rent-A-Car.
*If you do not meet certain conditions, you will be responsible for the cost.
*If you receive a service other than the above, it will be settled on the spot.
*Some road services are provided by NISSAN Rent-A-Car.
In principle, the customer shall be responsible for any damage in excess of the amount of compensation, accidents that fall under the deductible and insurance policy exclusions, accidents in violation of the rental agreement, and damage caused by use.

Vehicle Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
NISSAN Rent-A-Car - Basic Plan includes a Vehicle Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) in the rental price in case of an accident.
What is the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)?
This is a system that compensates for the deductible for property damage and vehicle deductible that the customer bears in the event of an accident.
However, if multiple accidents occur in the same rental, only the first accident will be applied.
NOC (Non-Operation Charge) support
If you subscribe to NOC (Non-Operation Charge) support, you are exempt from paying NOC.
What is NOC (Non-Operation Charge)?
In the event of an accident, theft, breakdown, defacement, etc. that is not the responsibility of the rental car company and requires the vehicle to be repaired or cleaned, you are required to pay ¥20,000 if the rental vehicle is returned to the scheduled return location (self-driveable) and ¥50,000 if the rental vehicle is returned to a location other than the scheduled return location or is not self-driveable as part of the business compensation during that period.
*Payment must be made regardless of the extent of damage or the time required for repairs.
*Smoking in non-smoking vehicles is likewise subject to NOC.
NOC support can be added for a subscription fee of ¥2,000/day.
*Please complete the procedures for NOC support enrollment at pick up branch.
*It is not possible to join after picking up.
Accident・Breakdown
In the event of an accident or breakdown of the rental car, please take the following actions.
Accident
In the event of an accident, please take the following four measures immediately.
In addition, regardless of the size of the scratches or dents, or the presence or absence of the other party, it will be treated as an accident and must be reported to the police.

Precautions in case of accident
After reporting to the police, please follow the procedures to obtain a traffic accident certificate.
•Do not settle with the other party at the scene of the accident without permission. You will not be covered by insurance or compensation.
•Regardless of the size of the scratches or dents, or whether or not the other party is involved in the accident, it will be treated as an accident.
•The rental contract will be terminated when the vehicle is rendered inoperable due to an accident.
In this case, the rental fee will not be refunded.
Breakdown
If the rental vehicle breaks down or malfunctions, stop the service immediately and contact the pick up branch.
Important notice in case of accident or malfunction
Any insurance or compensation system will not apply if an accident or breakdown occurs due to driving or conditions such as the following.
••If you were not wearing a seat belt while driving
•If you fail to notify the police from the scene of the accident (if you cannot obtain an accident certificate from the police)
•If you settle a settlement without permission with the other party of the accident
•Failure to contact the rental agency from the scene of the accident
•If you cause an accident by extending the rental time without permission
•Accidents involving persons other than the driver or co-driver named in the rental agreement
•Drunk driving, Drug use
•Driving without a license (including when your license is suspended or in violation of the types of vehicles you can drive)
•If the car is parked with the key in the ignition or unlocked and stolen
•When the vehicle is driven over its capacity
•When the vehicle is driven on a road other than a roadway, such as a beach, riverbed, or forest (accident on a road other than a maintained and controlled road)
•Repair expenses for damage or corrosion to the vehicle body or other parts of the vehicle caused by poor usage
•When used in various tests and competitions, or when used to tow or push other vehicles
•Vehicle damage to a rental car due to an accident with a vehicle owned, used, or managed by the customer
•Damage to rental vehicles, signs, etc. within the Rental car outlet
•Failure due to operational errors
•Damage or defacement of interior equipment
•Damage due to inadequate installation and installation of tire chains, carriers, and child seats
•Damage to tires, punctures, or loss of wheel caps
•Damage due to negligence in use or management of the vehicle.
•When used in violation of the terms of the rental agreement
•Other accidents that fall under the disclaimer of the insurance contract
